We are looking for a dynamic Missile Defense Engineer Intern with a solid STEM background to join our team for the Summer 2025 internship period. The selected intern will work closely with our experienced engineers and defense specialists to support missile defense projects, including systems analysis and simulation. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to critical national defense initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the modeling and analysis of missile defense systems and components.
- Conduct simulations and analyze data to evaluate system performance.
- Document findings and prepare technical reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of projects.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) such as Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
- Strong academic record.
- Basic understanding of missile defense systems and technologies is a plus.
- Proficiency in computer programming and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python, C++).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- U.S. citizenship required. Eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience or coursework related to missile defense, aerospace, operations research, systems or other related engineering fields.
- Familiarity with systems engineering and integration processes.
- Experience with modeling and simulation software.
