SAIC is seeking a highly motivated Operations Manager to join our Civilian Business Group (CBG) team. The successful candidate will report to the CBG Chief of Staff and will manage multiple elements of business operations for the Civilian business group, and ensure efficiency across all points of the Civilian Business Group to include assisting leadership with driving operational improvements and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
· Manage critical cross-functional projects that will drive operational effectiveness
· Manage, track, document and report on status of key operational priorities, eliminating bottlenecks and driving efficiencies for Civilian operations
· Act as the representative for the Chief of Staff to enterprise-level execution excellence programs
· Manage and optimize the communication, reporting and review of programs through oversight of the program in-process review (IPR) compliance metrics for the business group
· Manage tracking of Client Assessments and Fusion database records for program setup accuracy
· Synthesize data into actionable analysis and make recommendations to improve performance of the business group
· Facilitate communication and partnership between internal functions and the business, promoting collaboration and encouraging a high-performance growth mindset
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
· Bachelor's degree in business or similar field and 15 years of experience
· A minimum of 8 years of experience in government contracting
· Highly motivated professional capable of managing demanding workload while prioritizing and managing competing priorities
· Strong organizational, project management skills with strong personal initiative – a self starter who acts promptly and with a sense of urgency and impact
· Ability to engage at all levels of the organization - quickly developing trust, communicating, and driving actions
· High-energy, strategic problem solver with excellent judgment and a passion for learning
· Ability to work with and lead cross-functional teams
· Effective communication skills, a high level of integrity, critical thinking and leadership courage
· Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint) and Outlook
