SAIC is seeking a Principal Program Analyst to support testing, configuration management and program support for an unmanned maritime systems project. The Program Analyst will attend meetings with government representatives to provide accurate updates pertaining to testing, technical issues, tracking and management of parts, materials, and equipment. The Program Analyst will support the creation maintenance of logistics documents, including user manuals, sparing plans, and troubleshooting guides. The Program Analyst will be responsible for the professional management of several electrical and mechanical components related to the assigned program.  Program Analyst will support testing both in the laboratory and at-sea. This role is ONSITE in San Diego, CA

JOB DUTIES:

  • Support assessments that drive strategic recommendations technical issues and documenting designs for product improvements across various autonomous platforms.

  • Provide test and evaluation support for various autonomous system platforms, subsystems, and components including operational tests, both in laboratory environments and at-sea test venues as required by the objectives of the program.

  • Attend and participate in at-sea testing which includes small boat support in the deployment, test and recovery of systems under test.  Testing may also take place on larger seafaring vessels.

  • Support and develop meeting agendas and briefings for bi-coastal integration and testing coordination and planning meetings.

  • Attend and support Government in preliminary design review meeting.

  • Assist with peer review of engineering design of various autonomous system platforms.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Configuration Management (CM) process.

  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation and achieve program goals.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree and ten (10) years or more of related experience; Masters and eight (8) years or more experience; PhD or JD and five (5) years or more experience.

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in supporting at-sea testing, technical management, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience working on an Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) or Unmanned

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

  • Must have an Active TS/SCI clearance at start

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and work collaboratively with diverse teams.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
