SAIC is seeking a Program Management Supervisor to support work in Panama Beach, FL. 

Work will be performed on site in Panama City, FL.

Responsible for successful delivery of a program to a customer; or manage performance of a task or project as part of a larger program under direction of another PM. Manage and integrate activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensure technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance. Define or contribute to the program baseline then execute the program to comply with baseline requirements. Manage risk, customer relationships, and program staffing. Ensure compliance with quality standards and escalate challenges to SAIC leadership. Support business development and program staff management. (It should be understood that this is not intended to be a detailed nor comprehensive description of any individual employee's job content. Managers set the specific duties and responsibilities for each employee). 

PROGRAM EXECUTION: Manages performance requirements to the program baseline. Identifies and analyzes minor variances, and recommends corrective actions to Program Oversight. Responsible for a task or project when it is part of a larger program reporting to another PM; or responsible for overall execution as the sole PM for a Category 4 program(s) with domestic funding. Manages a small size program staff that may include a few subcontractors or suppliers. Conducts management and contract discussions in coordination with internal cross-functional team. Uses standard, well-defined processes, procedures, techniques, or tools.   

INDEPENDENCE: Routinely reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall quality and content by Program Oversight. Primary customer interface for technical matters, information sharing, and basic problem resolution. 

PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT OF PROGRAM STAFF: Possesses developing leadership and management skills that require mentoring and feedback from supervisors. Escalates program issues to management for assistance. Provides input to MS on performance reviews, compensation-related actions, and staffing and hiring recommendations. Raises personnel issues to MS, Human Resources (HR), and Program Oversight. 

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT: Contributes to a BD plan to protect current program work. Provides the Capture Manager (CM) with program-relevant information related to re-compete efforts. May be asked to identify potential selling opportunities to grow beyond current account. May be asked to identify opportunity-buying influences. May be asked to identify possible investment areas by leveraging repeatable and differentiated offerings and capabilities used in the current program.

Qualifications

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:

  • Must have an active Interim Secret clearance with ability to obtain a Secret clearance
