SAIC is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager to join our team of professionals to propel the organization forward near Bethesda, MD.  

 

The Program Manager (PM) will oversee personnel and operations of specific projects to ensure deliverables are met in a timely manner. This includes managing cost, schedule, and performance of the contract, in addition to risk identification and subsequent mitigation. The PM will also ensure that system resources are utilized effectively and build organizational relationships based on communication and trust.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Task staff and program activities, while crafting strategic procedures, orchestrating project deliverables, and ensuring seamless technical and administrative operation throughout the lifecycle of the program.
  • Creating Project Management Framework (PMF) documentation, such as Project Charters, Project Management Plans, metrics, roadmaps, etc.
  • Vigilantly monitor project milestones and outcomes, ensuring timely updates and comprehensive progress reports.
  • Handle strategic procurement and management of program assets while meticulously handling the fiscal and administrative components in compliance with contractual stipulations.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Program Management or related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of related experience with a portion of the experience having occurred within the last 2 years.
  • Demonstrates mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia that affect tradecraft methodology.
  • Demonstrates ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks.
  • Demonstrates ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Program Management or related field or Bachelor's degree and an additional 5 years of related senior experience for a total of 17 years to substitute for a Master's degree.

Target salary range: $200,001 - $240,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
