SAIC is seeking an experienced Program Manager to provide program management support to the Tomahawk Missile Systems Level 1 Integrated Product Team Leads (IPTLs), ensuring successful planning, execution, and oversight of production efforts and coordination across all stakeholders.
This position provides support to the Tomahawk Missile Systems IPT leadership. The role focuses on program management activities for Tomahawk AUR Production, including schedule development, cost tracking, risk management, and coordination of program deliverables. The individual will act as a key liaison between leadership, engineering teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to maintain alignment and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Specific duties include:
- Support L1 IPTL co-leads in planning, organizing, and executing Tomahawk AUR production efforts.
- Develop and maintain integrated program schedules and track milestones, providing timely status updates.
- Prepare and deliver cost and funding reports, assisting with budget planning and execution.
- Develop risk registers, track mitigation actions, and report risk status to leadership.
- Draft and coordinate acquisition documentation packages, such as Statements of Work (SOW), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and contract modifications, ensuring compliance with policies.
- Coordinate the review and disposition of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) to evaluate impacts on cost, schedule, and performance from a program management perspective.
- Ensure integration of engineering deliverables into overall program plans without performing technical design or analysis.
- Prepare and deliver briefing materials, reports, and presentations for leadership and external stakeholders.
- Organize and facilitate IPT meetings, working groups, and formal program reviews; document and track action items to closure.
- Maintain proactive communication with government and contractor stakeholders to ensure alignment of objectives, priorities, and deliverables.
- Maintain accurate program documentation and ensure compliance with NAVAIR and DoD acquisition policies.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in program management, acquisition support, or related areas.
- Demonstrated experience in two or more of the following:
- Program planning and execution
- Cost and financial management
- Contract management and oversight
- Risk management
- Acquisition documentation review and coordination
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment, and meet deadlines under pressure.
Desired:
- Experience supporting large-scale defense acquisition programs.
- Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts and scheduling practices.
- Prior experience in a DoD program office environment.
- Knowledge of NAVAIR and DoD 5000 series acquisition processes.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field; Master's degree in Business, Management, or related field highly desirable.
- Substitution: Four (4) additional years of relevant experience may substitute for a Master's degree.
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
