SAIC is seeking a Project Manager located in either Huntsville, AL or Oahu, HI to support the Pacific Multi-Domain Training and Experimentation Capability (PMTEC) Regional Joint Training Infrastructure (RJTI) Program for USINDOPACOM at the Pacific Warfighting Center (PWC) to oversee and manage a project under the PMTEC RJTI program by leading the planning, coordination, and execution of multi-domain training and experimentation activities
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Oversee and manage a project under the PMTEC RJTI program, ensuring alignment with USINDOPACOM's strategic objectives.
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multi-domain training and experimentation activities.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Decompose the large project scope into manageable pieces, ensuring efficient project execution.
- Organize and execute projects while working with a diverse team of employees and partners.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including military and civilian personnel, to ensure seamless program execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Prepare and present regular status reports and briefings to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain a flexible demeanor and willingness to support other duties as needed.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Five (5) years or more of relevant experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably within a military or defense environment.
- Strong understanding of multi-domain training and experimentation principles.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and within a diverse team.
- Familiarity with USINDOPACOM's mission and operations.
- Knowledge of how to organize and execute projects while working with a diverse team of employees and partners.
- Must be able to obtain a Passport and be willing to travel up to 25%.
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
- Must have an Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- Must be a current U.S. Citizen.
