• Develop cloud-native and hybrid architecture patterns supporting large-scale federal enterprise systems
• Create reference architectures for infrastructure-as-code (IaC) deployment using industry-standard tools
• Establish architectural governance frameworks ensuring consistency across multiple service level agreements
• Design integration patterns for federal enterprise toolsets and monitoring platforms
Federal Compliance & Security:
• Ensure all architectures meet FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST 800-53 requirements
• Design security architectures incorporating zero-trust principles and continuous monitoring
• Architect solutions supporting federal cybersecurity program requirements
• Develop authorization acceleration strategies leveraging inherited controls and automation
• Design architectures supporting continuous diagnostics and monitoring capabilities
Migration & Modernization:
• Architect cloud migration approaches using proven methodologies and best practices
• Design migration maturity models from lift-and-shift through cloud-native transformation
• Develop automated discovery, assessment, and migration tooling architectures
• Create architectural patterns supporting multiple migration strategies (rehost, replatform, refactor, repurchase, retire, retain)
• Design rollback and resilience patterns minimizing migration risk
Performance & Optimization:
• Architect frameworks driving cost optimization and operational efficiency
• Design monitoring and observability architectures addressing operational challenges
• Develop automated optimization frameworks for compute, storage, and network resources
• Create architectures supporting real-time visibility and cost management
• Design performance monitoring architectures ensuring service quality
Innovation & Technical Leadership:
• Architect solutions leveraging federal agency cloud frameworks and standards
• Design automation frameworks achieving measurable operational improvements
• Develop integration patterns for containerization and serverless computing
• Create architectural approaches for DevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline implementation
