SAIC is seeking a, Fully Remote, Cyber Engineer Lead to support the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Revolutionary Information Technology Services (RITS) program to oversee and support a diverse range of cybersecurity tools by collaborating with various teams to assess security needs, recommend solutions and provide ongoing support.
NOTE: This is a 100%, Fully Remote, Work from Home position.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Tool Support Management:
- Lead a team in providing support for various cybersecurity tools, ensuring timely issue resolution and optimal tool performance
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to address tool-related challenges, upgrades, and integrations
- Incident Response:
- Play a key role in incident response activities, utilizing cybersecurity tools to investigate and mitigate security incidents promptly
- Contribute to the development and improvement of incident response procedures
- Documentation and Training:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for supported tools, including troubleshooting guides, best practices, and standard operating procedures
- Conduct training sessions for team members and end-users to enhance tool utilization and efficacy
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization of cybersecurity tool workflows
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements, recommending updates or changes to the toolset as needed
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and five (5)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years' experience accepted in lieu of degree
Required Skills:
- MUST have experience in operating and maintaining AAA systems (CISCO ISE, CISCO ACS(EOL), Keycloak).
- MUST have experience in operating and maintaining BlueCat (BIND 9 DNS)*.
- Experience editing and creating Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP) documents, related to cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and networking protocols.
- Experience with troubleshooting network traffic to identify faults.
Required Certifications:
- Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification such as CASP+ CE, CCNP-Security, CASP, OR CISSP etc.
- Must be certified in one of the following within 180 days of hire: CCNA, CCNA Security, CCNA Routing and switching, CCNE, CCDP, Palo Alto Certified Network Security Administrator, CCNP, CIO, Cisco Routing and switching Field Specialist, CCIE Routing and switching.
Required Clearance:
- Must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance; Interim Secret required prior to start
- Must be a current US Citizen
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
