SAIC is seeking a Tier Three Network Engineer to support classified and unclassified networks and systems.
- The Network Engineer must be detail-oriented and have in-depth knowledge of networking hardware and software.
- Extensive experience in areas such as network design and implementation, LAN/WAN interfacing, security, Internet protocols and TCP/IP, as well as server and network infrastructure is required.
- Monitors and controls the performance and status of network resources by using software and hardware tools, as well as by identifying and diagnosing complex problems and factors affecting network performance.
- Provides guidance and direction for junior network support technicians.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, a Mathematics-intensive discipline, or a similar field. Significant relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
Active DoD Top Secret Clearance required, with SCI eligibility
Certifications:
All candidates must have obtained DoDD 8570.01-M IAT II as well as one or more of the following certifications:
• CCNP Collaboration
• CCNP Data Center
• CCNP Enterprise
• CCNP Security
• CCNP Service Provider
• CCIoT
• Aruba Certified Mobility Professional
• Juniper Networks Certified Specialist
Target salary range: $115,001 - $125,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
