SAIC is seeking a Senior Program Analyst in Bedford, IN. This position requires the candidate to be detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.  The candidate must possess strong communication skills, ability to work independently or in a team to find solutions, and ability to prioritize deliverables to meet schedules. Hybrid potential after capabilities are established and milestones are met.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting successful delivery of a technical program to the customer. 
  • Assist with managing and integrating activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensure technical, schedule, cost, and financial performance. 
  • Help define or contribute to the program baseline then execute the program to comply with baseline requirements. 
  • Assist with managing risk, developing customer relationships, and program staffing. 
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and escalate challenges to SAIC leadership. 
  • Support business development and program staff management.
  • Provides input in planning, developing and implementing changes to the program(s).
  • Identifies and analyzes significant variances, and defines corrective actions in coordination with Program oversight. 
  • Assist with managing tasking for large staff, including subcontractors, suppliers, and task/project leads.
  • Supports financial discussions in coordination with internal cross-functional team. 
  • Develops processes, procedures, techniques, or tools that may require program-specific modifications.
  • May serve as primary customer interface for management and contract matters; information sharing; and serious problem resolution.  
  • Provides input to performance reviews, compensation-related actions, and staffing and hiring recommendations.
  • Resolves personnel issues in coordination with MS, HR, and Program Oversight.

Qualifications

REQUIRED CLEARANCE: 

  • Must have an active Interim Secret security clearance to begin work on the contract with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree and six (6) years' of experience; additional four (4) years' experience in lieu of degree. 

REQUIRED SKILLS:  

  • Military, DoD, or contractor experience.
  • Ability to communicate, present briefings, and develop relationships with high-level management and customers. 
  • Ability to meet schedules and deadlines.
  • Highly organized. 
  • Basic understanding of funding, budgets, and data analytics.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.  
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and customers.  
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills in making the appropriate technical decisions. 
  • Must be motivated, adaptable, flexible, and able to produce quality results in an evolving, fast-paced environment.  
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail.  
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
