SAIC is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our Agile team supporting our customer the United States Patent and Trademark Office. 

Responsibilities:

  • Document test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts.
  • Execute test scripts and fully document all defects.
  • Work with development team to resolve defects.
  • Interface with development team to understand requirements and improve SW test effectiveness.
  • Actively participate in developing & improving existing testing scenarios and test cases.
  • Develop automated test scripts.
  • Work on multiple testing activities in parallel.
  • Create appropriate test data
  • Query data repositories to validate application functionality
  • Develop and test for 508 compliance
  • Develop scripts and test application performance
  • Monitor application quality against Product KPI's and SLA's
  • Update the Rally Agile tracking tool stories, tasks, and results
  • Test application workflows and corresponding data status
  • Test application monitoring and logging (observability) features

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree and 9 years or more of relevant experience
  • Agile scrum experience
  • Agile tool experience
  • Test Case development
  • Functional/Smoke test experience
  • Cloud native software testing experience
  • UI testing
  • Capability in Database query languages (SQL, MySSQL, Postgres)
  • Knowledge of tools and implementation: Selenium, HTML, MS-Office, Documentation
  • Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance requiring US Citizenship
