SAIC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior System Engineer to support the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) at Ft. Belvoir. 

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in modernizing and integrating the Intelligence Foundation layer, aligning sensors, missions and analytics to meet command requirements for executing Multi-Domain Intelligence in support of Large-Scale Combat Operations (LSCO).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Modernization & Integration: Support the enhancement and integration of the Intelligence Foundation layer is synchronized with Army PED modernization requirements.
  • Gap Analysis & Requirements Management: Conduct comprehensive assessments and gap analyses. Manage requirements, develop solutions, and oversee the testing and deployment of new products and systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with INSCOM and FORSCOM customers and senior leadership and PEO IEWS and CECOM systems engineers and development engineers to understand and translate customer objectives and requirements into actionable development plans from concept through field deployment.
  • System Definition & Implementation: Define and oversee the implementation of systems to support the overall system architecture, ensuring alignment with operational goals and requirements.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree.

Clearance: 

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a Polygraph. (Clearance must be listed and active in DISS.)

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Army Intelligence programs.
  • Experience working with the Army and National Intelligence community.
  • Experience with Army Aerial Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (A-ISR) platforms or technologies, particularly the High Accuracy Detection and Exploitation System (HADES).
  • Experience in all-source intelligence, signals intelligence, or geospatial intelligence.
  • Knowledge and experience in intelligence program systems engineering, program management, or requirements development.
  • Experience with evaluating commercial hardware and software procurements and maintenance renewals.
  • Familiarity with data architecture, data dissemination, and information security planning.
  • Experience with network engineering/operations.
  • Ability to work at both the conceptual level and with program leads, customers, and internal teams to ensure the successful development, integration, and deployment of systems.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and collaboration skills for working with senior leadership and external customers.
