SAIC is seeking a full-time Senior Test Engineer to work collaboratively with developers to support hardware and software testing. Role requires 25% travel mainly to West Coast and OCONUS. Priority will be given to candidates living on the East Coast.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, cases, and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational standards and end-user requirements.
- Create test schedules and approaches based on system requirements.
- Produce essential test deliverables, including test scripts/cases, test plans, daily status reports, and test summary reports.
- Perform technical reviews of customer Test and Evaluation documents for system requirements and deliverables.
- Collaborate with customers to develop clear and actionable test scripts and procedures.
- Conduct on-site testing at various USMC installations worldwide.
- Assist System Engineers in QA/QC audits of system installations and configurations.
- Analyze test results and resolve open issues.
- Generate T&E Test Reports within specified timelines.
- Track trouble logs and validate issue resolutions.
Qualifications
Required Skills / Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years of relevant technical experience (Test and Evaluation, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, and Systems/Equipment Support). Extensive experience and/or certifications may substitute for a degree.
- CTFL certification by ATSQB/ITSQB.
- Expertise in developing, planning, and executing test methodologies.
- Proficiency in understanding and testing large enterprise-grade networks and developing test solutions.
- Ability to develop and maintain test scripts, test cases, status reports, and test summary reports, as well as other client-defined reports.
- Familiarity with MS Visio and MS Office Suite.
- Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a secret security clearance
Desired Skills / Experience:
- Knowledge of hardware/software troubleshooting skills, life cycles, and development.
- Familiarity with network and communication technologies and their associated protocols.
- Experience in capturing operational and functional requirements.
- Understanding of a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
