SAIC is seeking a ServiceNow Developer/System Administrator to join the FAA team. This position must be able to work in a government customer environment using ServiceNow ITSM. This position will build an extensive number of catalog items therefore, heavy experience with complex catalog requirements and their subsequent build is necessary.  

This position is 100% remote.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Modernize Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) by integrating industry best practices with the delivery and support of various ServiceNow ITSM modules. The existing need is a project for many Service Catalog items including the ability to gather the requirements to determine the customer desired outcome. 
  • Perform configuration, integration, custom programming, and other hands-on technical activities in relation to implementation of ServiceNow. 
  • Develop systems integrations and process automation. Experience in implementing scripted Web services in ServiceNow, SOAP, REST, and integrations with external system. 
  • Implement ServiceNow customization's including UI Policies, UI Actions, Business Rules, Client Scripts, workflow administration, integration, data import, and ACLs including advanced scripting of each. 
  • Create and configure Notifications, UI pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, Service Portal, Service Catalog, Catalog Items, Record Producers, Order guides, Workspaces, etc. in ServiceNow. 
  • Analyze trends with KPIs, metrics, reports, and dashboards.
  • Serve as an individual/lead contributor and/or team member on SAIC ServiceNow engagements and other key client stakeholders.  
  • Confer with systems analysts, engineers, and cross-functional teams to design software and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints; create, manage, and track workflows to ensure work completion occurs in order, on time and on budget. 
  • You will perform day-to-day support and maintenance, work with the functional team to develop solutions in ServiceNow and coordinate support and development efforts within the admin team. 
  • General support, administration, and maintenance of ServiceNow platform and associated applications. 
  • Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications. 
  • Excellence in documentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Participate in full software development life cycle: Requirements, Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, Training, and Operational support. Participate in Agile/scrum process. 
  • Support Quality Assurance and Quality Control verification within all applicable phases of software development to assure all actions are completed in accordance with appropriate policy, standards and procedures.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and compliance with all government and corporate policies.

Qualifications

Certifications, Educational and Security Requirements:

  • Desired: PMP, ITIL, Scrum Master, SEC+.
  • Required: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • Required: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - ITSM.
  • Desired or ability to acquire within 6 months: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
  • Desired or ability to acquire within 6 months: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) - Any other CIS certification.
  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related disciplines.
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust or Secret Government Security Clearance.
  • US Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements.

Qualifications: 

  • Experience supporting the customization, administration, and configuration of the ITSM ServiceNow tool. 
  • Familiar with Flow Designer.
  • Extensive Change, Catalog, and Portal experience.
  • Experience with (XML, HTML, AngularJS, Jelly JAVA Script, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, etc.) - Advanced scripting and programming skills are highly beneficial. 
  • Experience with REST and web services. 
  • Experience in gathering project requirements and developing solutions. 
  • Ability to plan resource requirements from high-level specifications. Strong communications skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in plain language. 

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
