SAIC is hiring for a fully remote Sr. Business Analyst to support our federal client.
Primary Function:
Provide Information Technology solutions for Federal Government customers. Services provided include Requirements Analysis, Requirements Facilitation, Development Management Support Services, Systems Integration, Infrastructure Support, Security, Design and Development of New Systems, and Training to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Work as a Senior Application Analyst and is responsible for the elicitation and documentation of requirements, documenting user guides, and general customer service.
•This position works as part of a scrum team to elaborate, design, develop and test complete functionality within a sprint. •Perform software testing as needed to ensure the integrity of requirements.
•Perform demos of completed functionality to customers for acceptance.
•Interface with the software development group throughout the software development process •Supports the software configuration management process and understands all software components and their interface requirements and dependencies •Provide subject matter expertise to include but not limited to requirements elicitation
Qualifications
Requirements:
•Previous experience with the Agile Software Development Methodology and set of processes
•Previous experience eliciting and writing requirements.
•Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
•Candidate must be very detailed oriented
•Ability to work well in a team environment.
•Ability to adhere to and meet defined schedules, milestones and deadlines.
•Candidate must be able to accurately estimate LOE for elaboration effort.
•Ability to work multiple tasks simultaneously.
•Ability to effectively communicate requirements concepts to technical staff members.
•Ability to interface well with non-technical members of the project.
- Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust.
Preferred:
•Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and MS Office Tools suite
•Development experience in a MUMPS/Caché environment
•Experience with Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)
•Experience with HL7 messaging and EDI transaction concepts
•Experience with modern development methodologies (e.g., Agile, SCRUM, etc.).
•Experience with Healthcare software, specifically insurance and electronic payments from a financial intermediary
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
•Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years relevant experience or a Masters and 3+ years experience.
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
