SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineer to support our FAA customers. The successful candidate will provide Terminal Flight Data Manager (TFDM) Flight Data Input/Output (FDIO) site implementation support.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with FDIO modifications
  
• Reading site drawings
  
• Installing and validating hardware and software
  
• Cable fabrication and testing
  
• Significant travel up to 50% may be required

Qualifications

Required:

• BA/BS in a technical field including but not limited to engineering, computer science, aviation/information technology, air traffic control/management, etc. is required.
• Knowledge of computer hardware - comparable to Comp TIA A+ certification
• Able to communicate with various organizations within the FAA
• Skilled in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of cable paths and protocols (serial, Ethernet, Fiber)
• Excellent communication skills using both technical and user-friendly language
• Ability to satisfy FAA resume and security requirements, citizenship required

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
