SAIC has an immediate opening for a Technical Targeter on an exciting program in Northern Virginia. We are looking for someone with a background in a variety of tools and technologies, and the ideal candidate will have experience in tactical, operational & strategic intelligence support with both human and technical targets. The selected candidate must have a solid understanding of technical collections and experience creating targeting packages. Our ideal candidate will be able to operate in high pressure environments and be able to manage large and small projects. Mandarin language skills are not required, but are highly desired.

We are seeking a candidate who will: 

• Think critically and communicate highly complex technical information accurately and clearly while also working collaboratively in a team environment
• Provide outstanding customer support in order to meet high demand requirements
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and interact with others to communicate processes and procedures
• Act with initiative and flexibility to work both individually and in a team environment with limited oversight
• Demonstrate capacity to pivot and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate effective writing and oral communication skills
   

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Must currently hold an Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Minimum of 5 years of targeting or other ops/intel experience
• Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience can be substituted for the degree
• Target-package building experience
• Advanced experience using targeting and partner analytic tools
• Experience or strong familiarity with communications infrastructure
• Experience working with raw unprocessed data, as well as large data sets
• Experience working in a Linux environment
• Strong analytic, research, and investigative skills combined with ops sense, personal initiative, and technical expertise
• Capability to confidently deliver clear and concise briefings to technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to work within an ambiguous, evolving digital environment individually and as a member of a collaborative team
  
  Desired:
• Knowledge of, and experience in, the fundamentals of intelligence operations and asset validation
• Experience identifying targeting leads through the exploitation of all-source databases and specialized tools
• Formal training or certification as a targeter
• Experience mentoring junior targeters
• 10-15 years of relevant targeting experience
• Mandarin language capability
   

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
