SAIC is seeking a Unified Communications Lead to lead our 24x7x365 support coverage supporting our federal customer. In this role you oversee all Unified Communications (UC) related services and collaborate with the customer to meet organizational needs.

 

This role is Hybrid Remote and will require onsite work in Arlington, VA. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Oversight: 

  • Oversee all UC-related services, including telephony and video conferencing.

  • Ensure high performance and quality delivery of services.

  • Manage and supervise contractor personnel responsible for UC services.

  • Provide onsite oversight at the Arlington, VA location.

 

System Administration and Support

  • Manage, configure, and fully support Unified Communication (UC) systems and Configuration Items (CIs).

  • Conduct device resets as needed.

  • Perform troubleshooting to resolve technical issues.

  • Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability.

  • Oversee telephony system cluster management, including platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Analog.

 

Collaboration and Reporting: 

  • Collaborate with the customer and third parties to align Unified Communications (UC) environments with evolving requirements.

  • Provide system performance analysis and recommend cost-reduction strategies.

  • Regularly report on regulatory changes impacting communication technologies.

  • Recommend necessary adjustments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors and 10 years of experience. Additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree. 

  • 10+ years in server/service management 

  • ITIL v4 Foundation certification

  • Proficiency in supporting UC technologies (e.g., Microsoft Teams, VoIP, video conferencing), with advanced troubleshooting in high-availability environments.

  • Strong skills in managing telephony carrier coordination, incident reviews, and daily performance reporting

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
