SAIC is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Sterling, VA. 
 
Primary Responsibilities:
 
Receiving 
a. Receive parts onto Loading Dock
b. Separate Spares from Deployment
c. Spares returned
    i. Identify various electronic parts/units/systems
   ii. Update Inventory System 
   iii. Match to expected return
   iv. Clean, Inspect, Minor Testing - Adherence to electronic component precautions and cautions
   v. Send parts needing more testing or repair to Material In Review
   vi. Label, Box and Put to Shelf
  viii. Pull parts for distribution as directed - Good working knowledge of electronic components is fundamental.
d. Deployment Part Receipts
   i. Verify Electronic Parts/Component/Units/Systems vs Packing Slip (to compare to).  Aherence to electronic component precautions and cautions
   ii. Update Inventory System 
   iii Update SAIC Accounting System
   iv. Put Away
 
Inventory Control
e. Perform Cycle Counts
   i. Update Inventory System 
f. Perform Physical Inventory
   i. Update Inventory System 
g. Shelf Adjustments
   i. Update Inventory System
h. Restocking
   i. Repackaging
j. Assist Asset Management 
 
Shipping
k. Spares
   i. Pull and Prepare requested parts
   ii. Insure correct Firmware and Configuration Settings for location
   iii. Ship via FedEx/UPS/LTL
   iv. Record Transaction in Inventory System 
l. Deployment
   i. Pull Parts per BOM (Bill of Material) - adhere to electronic component precautions and cautions
   ii. QA items already on pallets by others
  iii. Prepare shipment for transport
  iv. Record Transaction in Inventory System
 
Other
m.  Work to maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
n. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Requirements:

• High School diploma and 0-2 years of experience
• U.S. Citizenship and must be able to obtain a DHS Public Trust Clearance
• Strong Windows-based computer skills required
•  Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Must have a good working knowledge of electronic parts/units/systems. Adherence to electronic component precautions and cautions is key to this position.
• Must be willing to work full-time on-site in Sterling, VA

Target salary range: Up to $40,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
