Salem Health Hospitals & Clinics is seeking a full-scope OB/GYN Physician and a OB/GYN Medical Director to join our award winning, high-volume practice in a full-time (1.0 FTE) capacity. Our positions are vacant for career advancement and future growth!

The typical schedule for both positions will enjoy four (4) day workweek with a 1:5 call rotation. The Medical Director will have .8 Clinical and 2. Admin FTE allocation.

Our OBGYNs collaborate and are supported by our comprehensive Women & Children's Health Division including the OB Hospitalist team as well as on-campus clinics for GYN/ONC, OB/GYN, Midwifery, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. The Director would oversee these service line stakeholders through problem solving, addressing patient safety concerns, serve as a resource for daily operations, schedule management and overall business strategy.

Our established team of experienced OB/GYNs offer all aspects of obstetrics and gynecologic care, including contraception management, pregnancy and prenatal care, childbirth, surgery, and treatment of diseases and disorders of the reproductive system. Our state-of-the-art Family Birth Center offers a 19-bed Labor & Delivery Unit and includes 12 labor and seven (7) antepartum beds, with two (2) operating rooms and a 27-bed level IIIA Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Background/Expertise:
  • Hold a degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
  • Currently hold, or are able to obtain, a current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Oregon.
  • Hold a current unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
  • Hold Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology through the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
  • Robotics training preferred
Medical Director Specific Requirements:
  • 6 years of experience as a board certified OBGYN Physician required for the Medical Director
  • Three (3) years of experience in a Leadership role preferred
