Job Title: Assistant Manager of Paid Media

JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly analytical Assistant Manager of Paid Media to join our dynamic Digital Marketing team in St. Petersburg, FL. You will gain valuable experience in omnichannel campaign management, leveraging data and analytics to drive measurable results and contribute to our brand's success in the dynamic world of professional beauty. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (Include the following, other duties may be assigned)

  • Strategy & Planning: 
    • Execute data-driven, omnichannel paid media strategies, encompassing Paid Social, Paid Search, Programmatic, Online Video, and Trade Media, to achieve business objectives, build brand awareness, acquire new customers, and drive store traffic.
    • Oversee the external agency partner's execution of day-to-day campaign operations, ensuring seamless coordination between internal and external teams. 
  • Campaign Execution: 
    • Execute seamless trafficking and QA of creative assets across all digital platforms, ensuring timely delivery and accurate implementation of campaign materials. 
    • Monitor campaign performance, identify areas for optimization and present recommendations to media team leadership, and make data-driven adjustments to maximize ROI.
    • Track paid media budget, supporting Media Manager(s) with forecasting, billing, and reconciliation processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal processes.
  • Analytics & Reporting: 
    • Maintain documentation of SalonCentric and brand partners' media plans (channel plans, flowcharts, reporting).
    • Develop biweekly, monthly, and quarterly reports aggregating and summarizing the performance of all paid mediums, including analysis of key metrics such as ROAS, CPA, conversion rates, and channel performance.
  • Collaboration & Communication: 
    • Foster collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the organization (including brand marketing, ecommerce, agency, brands, and key vendors). 
    • Provide regular performance updates and maintain clear documentation of strategies, budgets, and results. 
  • Innovation & Thought Leadership: 
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices. 
    • Share knowledge and insights with the team and contribute to SalonCentric's digital marketing capabilities. 

EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in omnichannel media planning and buying (agency or client-side) with a proven track record of managing annual budgets of at least $1M.
  • Experience developing and executing media plans in paid social, SEM, programmatic and online video required.
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing platforms and tools, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, DV360, Google Analytics, etc. Certification in GA4 or Adobe Analytics preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive significant improvements in paid media campaign performance.
  • Collaborative partner, with a talent for listening to partners' feedback and concerns and actively solutioning to build alignment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in the beauty or retail industry is a plus.
  • Must be able to remain stationary or sit for the majority of scheduled day.
  • Able to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment throughout the day.
  • Ability to use normal office equipment regularly (computer, printer etc).
  • Ability to lift 10 LBS. 
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
