POSITION: Inside Sales Account Representative- National Accounts DEPARTMENT: Sub Distribution, Franchise & National Accounts REPORTS TO: Director, National Accounts LOCATION: Remote SUMMARY: The Inside Sales Account Manager (ISAR) is a crucial link between SalonCentric and its diverse customer base, including sub-distributors, franchise salons, and national accounts. This role focuses on driving sales growth, building strong relationships, and maximizing account penetration within assigned territories. The ISAR will manage a portfolio of existing accounts while also proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities. This position requires a deep understanding of the professional beauty industry, excellent communication and sales skills, and the ability to tailor sales strategies to the specific needs of each account type – from national school chains, salon chains and beauty supplies (National Accounts). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Sales Growth & Account Management: Achieve sales targets by effectively managing and growing assigned accounts. This includes regular communication, proactive upselling and cross-selling of the brand portfolio approved for these accounts, and identifying opportunities to expand product placement within existing accounts. • Franchise Support: Partner with franchise salons to drive sales and brand loyalty. This involves understanding franchise-specific programs and promotions, assisting with local marketing initiatives, and providing ongoing support to franchisees. • National Account Support: Support National Account Managers in servicing large, national accounts. This may include order processing, data analysis, and coordinating promotional activities. • New Business Development: Identify and qualify new business opportunities within assigned territories, focusing on national accounts. • Order Processing & Management: Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and follow-up. • Product Knowledge: Maintain expert-level knowledge of SalonCentric brands portfolio, including features, benefits, and applications. • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. C1 - Internal use • Sales Reporting & Analysis: track customer interactions and sales data. Accurately forecast sales and provide regular reports on account performance, market trends, and competitive activity to management. • Collaboration & Communication: Work collaboratively with internal teams, including marketing, education, and supply chain, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and provide excellent customer service. Education & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related experience. • Minimum of 2-3 years of inside sales experience, with experience in the beauty industry strongly preferred. • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. • Experience working with sub-distributors, franchises, or national accounts is highly desirable. • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is preferred. Skills • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. • Strong sales acumen, negotiation, and closing skills. • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse client base. • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time-management skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. • Deep understanding of the professional beauty industry and trends. • Strong product knowledge of L'Oréal's professional product lines. • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and digital marketing is a plus. • Understanding of the competitive landscape within the professional beauty industry
