Here is what you will be doing:

• Unload pipe from railcars and load trucks 
• Professional interaction and collaboration with other Savage Team Members and customers
• Perform inspection preparation in the most economical, cost-effective manner, while taking into account operating life cycle, safety, and replacement considerations
• Operate or move equipment around the yard and shop
• Assist with maintenance, clean-up, and other duties as assigned
• Dependability in attendance required
• Follow written and/or verbal instructions with minimal supervision
• Read, understand, and follow field inspection criteria according to DS1 and all A.P.I. inspection manuals
• Clean driving record
• Comply with all safety standards

Physical Requirements: 

• Commitment to working safely at all times
• Exposed to the outdoor elements
• Must be physically able to handle heavy parts and pieces of equipment
• Climb on and off the equipment
• Physically demanding work will be a daily function of this position
• Climb and crawl when needed
• Frequently lift 75 lbs.
