Here is what you will be doing:
- Unload pipe from railcars and load trucks
- Professional interaction and collaboration with other Savage Team Members and customers
- Perform inspection preparation in the most economical, cost-effective manner, while taking into account operating life cycle, safety, and replacement considerations
- Operate or move equipment around the yard and shop
- Assist with maintenance, clean-up, and other duties as assigned
- Dependability in attendance required
- Follow written and/or verbal instructions with minimal supervision
- Read, understand, and follow field inspection criteria according to DS1 and all A.P.I. inspection manuals
- Clean driving record
- Comply with all safety standards
Physical Requirements:
- Commitment to working safely at all times
- Exposed to the outdoor elements
- Must be physically able to handle heavy parts and pieces of equipment
- Climb on and off the equipment
- Physically demanding work will be a daily function of this position
- Climb and crawl when needed
- Frequently lift 75 lbs.
