In this Associate Controls Engineering Internship, you will work as part of a corporate Engineering Team focusing on electrical and controls hardware design, build, and checkout activities.  

This position is located at our Home Office in Green Bay Wi.    We are looking for candidates that can work onsite year-round, approximately 15-20 hours/week during the school year and 40 hours/week during summer. We are looking for a year-round intern or a Co-op opportunity.

What you'll do:

  • Review and research design standards for new equipment.
  • Creating electrical/controls drawings
  • Build electrical panels.
  • Provide electrical checkout support of hardware built or refurbished at home office or our Green Bay plant.
  • PLC / HMI work as required. 

What you will need to succeed:

  • Active student in an Electrical Technologies or related curriculum. (Bachelor's or Associates)
  • Maintained a GPA of 2.75 of higher.
  • Effective communications skills
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Ability to take ownership of assignments and complete them.
  • Desire to grow and take on new challenges/opportunities.

Desired requirements: (Experience desired, but training will be available)

  • Drafting using AutoCAD and AutoCad Electrical
  • Background/training on electrical/electronic hardware.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Introduction to PLCs / HMIs
