The Mergers and Acquisition Manager (M&A Manager) will manage target analysis, due diligence, and financial modeling and support deal sourcing, negotiations, and integrations. This role requires deep expertise in financial analysis, strategic thinking, and a strong ability to drive and close transactions that align with the company's strategic objectives. The M&A Manager will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities that enhance the company's growth and competitive position.
What You'll Do:
Due Diligence:
- Lead comprehensive due diligence processes, including financial, legal, operational, and strategic assessments.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (finance, legal, operations, HR, etc.) to ensure thorough due diligence.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities and recommend mitigation strategies.
Financial Analysis & Valuation:
- Develop detailed financial models to assess the value and impact of potential acquisitions.
- Perform scenario analyses and sensitivity testing to evaluate different deal structures.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to senior management.
Post-Merger Integration:
- Develop and implement post-merger integration plans in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Monitor and track the performance of acquired entities to ensure they meet financial and strategic objectives.
- Provide ongoing support to integration teams to ensure smooth transitions.
Strategic Planning:
- Provide market insights and strategic recommendations based on industry trends and competitive analysis.
- Support the development of long-term growth plans through M&A activities.
Together with the leadership team, ensures compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans, in addition to customer requirements. Interprets and communicates customer requirements to plant production and/or support groups. Establishes and Audits PCPs, CCPs and Standard Operating Procedures to define and monitor processes, to ensure customer requirements are met. Reviews incidents during which the procedures are not met, and determines appropriate corrective action for partners failing to follow standard procedures.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or CFA preferred
- 7+ years experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate development, corporate finance, or a related field
Experience in Manufacturing
Familiarity with international M&A transactions and cross-border deals
Experience with post-merger integration processes
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Experience in conducting and leading due diligence processes.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- High degree of integrity, initiative, confidentiality, and attention to detail
- Ability to travel 15% of time
