The Senior Manager, Compensation leads a high-performing team to design, govern, and continuously improve enterprise compensation programs that advance business strategy and talent outcomes. This role is the organization's Workday Compensation owner—responsible for configuration leadership, releases, testing, and end-to-end process optimization—while partnering cross-functionally with HR, HR Technology, Finance, and business leaders to ensure market competitiveness, internal equity, process excellence, and data integrity.
This role offers a flexible hybrid work schedule (Monday-Friday) located at our Home Office in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The hybrid work schedule is 3 days/week onsite at Home Office and 2 days/week from home.

What you'll do:
Leads, coaches and develops Compensation team.
Leads consultative Center of Excellence and advises leaders and partners and HR team members on matters related to compensation to support the company's priorities. Delivers insights and data storytelling to senior leadership.
Owns base pay architecture, variable pay design cycles, and compensation planning governance.
Stays informed on global compensation trends (partners with Europe HR) and establishes relationships.
Leads design and maintenance of salary structures, premium programs, and short-term incentives aligned to business strategy.
Directs market benchmarking, advises on job levelling, and performs pay equity analyses.
Maintains compensation policies, job architecture alignment, and compliance. Partners with Finance and HRBPs on KPIs and workforce analysis.
Owns configuration, regression testing, release management, data security and participate in governance.
Drives user experience and process improvements for annual and off-cycle processes.
Builds and maintain dashboards, audits and reports using Workday.
Leads annual cycles including merit, bonus, promotions, and communications.
Governs off-cycle actions to ensure internal equity. Advocates for reduction in processing errors and improved audit outcomes.
Sources and governs all external compensation market data and benchmarking.
Manages compensation systems, reporting tools, licenses, and vendor relationships to ensure data quality, cost efficiency, and compliance.
What you need to succeed:
Bachelors Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, HR; Masters preferred
8-10+ years' experience in Business, Finance, HR
Demonstrated Workday Compensation configuration expertise.
Advanced analytics capabilities
Global compensation experience preferred
Experience with pay equity analytics and large-scale enablement preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, presentation skills
Proven leadership and the ability to teach others compensation theory and practice
Ability to travel up to 5% (within and outside of the US)
