Description
SUMMARY:
Supervise and assist in the set up and/or teardown of events in various venues including tables, chairs, stations and equipment according to the Banquet Event Order (BEO), layout and lists. Create floor charts for venue sets as well as provide banquet staff with equipment needs, service support and training.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO:
- Read Banquet Event Orders (BEO) and ensure venues are set to contract specifications
- Create and follow set up diagrams to properly set a venue, including but not limited to arranging tables, chairs, skirting tables, AV equipment, dance floors and additional furniture; steaming linens, moving banquet equipment
- Assign daily set up and teardown responsibilities to house attendants along with other misc. tasks and ensure all are completed efficiently and accurately within a specific timeline
- Operate company box-truck and other vehicles to deliver equipment, furniture and products to off-site venues
- Properly breakdown venues according to event specifications
- Return inventory and equipment to proper storage space
- Maintain responsibility for the organization and safety of banquet storage areas
- Buss tables during and after events and assist banquet team members as needed
- Possess knowledge of set up and operation of AV equipment and testing during set up
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the banquet kitchen
- All other duties as assigned

- Organize equipment and maintain stock levels of essential inventory
- Ability to communicate effectively with and receive information from guests and coworkers
- Possess excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Maintain a strong knowledge of local area, the hotel and our resort amenities
- Possess a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record
