The Kitting Associate supports critical customers in our kitting operations and executes processes and procedures for assembly orders to prepare for shipment. This role is also cross trained to support inventory allocation and other production activities, ensuring to meet customer requirements of quality and delivery schedule.

Shift Available:Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:00pm, OT as needed

Key Responsibilities for Kitting Associate include:

  • Prepare and process customer orders, which includes pulling materials, packing boxes and placing orders in delivery area
  • Organize stock and materials within the warehouse by properly unboxing and storing goods in their designated location
  • Operate a forklift and/or pallet jack
  • Assist with inventory counts and making appropriate adjustments
  • Provide quality service by following organizational standards and standard work instructions
  • Conduct visual quality inspections and perform quality testing
  • Manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Effectively work with a diverse group of people and personalities using communication and collaboration skills
  • Assist in Finishing operations when kitting orders are complete.  This entails traveling to our Minneapolis facility.

 

Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Required: Basic computer skills
  • Required: Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Required: Good motor skills, dexterity, mechanical and analytical skills
  • Required: Ability to problem solve, prioritize daily tasks according to their importance, and great attention to detail
  • Required: Ability to obtain forklift certification
  • Preferred: Experience working lean manufacturing and ISO quality systems
  • A Plus: Experience with heat sealers, tape machines, and/or label machines
