Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Trade training of 5 years' experience with Navy operations and training preferred, alternatively, STEM education or background may be suitable
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior leaders; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex topics in written form
- Proficiency with Microsoft Power Point, Word, and Excel.
- International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or ExportAdministration Regulations (EAR) are applicable to this role and as such, the position will or is likely to require access to material controlled by ITAR and EAR (Controlled Material). Therefore, any person occupying the position must be able to satisfy ITAR and EAR controls, which may require specific authorisation to access Controlled Materials. Responsibilities
The Analyst will join a small Australia-based team and integrate this effort into the larger multinational AUKUS effort, beginning with U.S. Navy training and eventually transitioning U.K. Royal Navy training curricula. The Analyst will employ industry best practices (e.g., Australian Defence Force's Systems Approach to Defence Learning, or SADL).
- Develop expertise in assigned areas through completion of assigned training, written research, and interviews with subject matter experts.
- Maintain status, drive progress and provide frequent updates on all assigned tasks.
- Communicate clearly and concisely across a wide range of products including e-mail, after-action reports, policy or other structured papers, data analytics, and flag-level briefings.
- Organise and support virtual and in-person meetings where much of our difficult trilateral coordination is accomplished.
- Support the Lead Analyst to design, plan, organize deliverables, ensuring that strategic intent of all assigned projects is met. Work collaboratively with colleagues and clients across functional, organisation and international boundaries to accomplish objectives.
