Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance and willing to conduct Counterintelligence Polygraph as required
- 3-5 years relevant experience in cyber operations required; experience may include government or private sector work conducting cyber operations or penetration testing
- Experience performing Cyber Operations in the DoD/Intelligence Community
- Proven expertise in conducting cyber warfare operations, using specific technologies, tradecraft, and strategy
- Proven experience interfacing between operational commands and technical development teams
- Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills at senior levels of government and DoD
- Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
Desired Certifications (not required but beneficial):
- CISSP, CEH, GSEC, or similar cybersecurity certifications
- PMP or equivalent program/project management certification
Responsibilities
The Cyber Warfare Operational Integrator plays a critical role in ensuring the effective integration, delivery, and operational utility of cyber warfare capabilities developed by the DoD. This position acts as the primary bridge between program development teams and operational commands, aligning technical efforts with mission-driven objectives. Will provide expertise in cyber tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), ensure program milestones are met, manage risk, and support continuous improvement throughout the capability lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Capability Integration and Delivery
- Assess and tailor cyber warfare tools to meet specific operational needs.
- Ensure program deliverables align with mission objectives.
- Manage delivery timelines and advise program milestones.
- Proactively identify and mitigate delivery of capabilities with operational risks.
Testing, Validation, and Training
- Coordinate validation of capabilities in test environments.
- Oversee training of operational teams on new capabilities.
- Conduct after-action reviews and incorporate feedback for improvement.
Operational and Strategic Liaison
- Serve as primary liaison between program teams and operational commanders.
- Translate operational needs and constraints into actionable requirements.
- Engage stakeholders to align program efforts with strategic mission goals.
- Maintain consistent communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Technical Expertise and Capability Assessment
- Maintain current knowledge of cyber warfare TTPs and evolving threats.
- Evaluate the operational relevance and integration potential of emerging technologies.
- Advise program leadership on technology adoption and implementation strategies.
Risk Management and Documentation
- Identify vulnerabilities and operational risks.
- Develop and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure delivery of comprehensive training and user documentation.
Performance Metrics and Reporting
- Define and track key performance indicators for capability effectiveness.
- Provide regular progress updates to program leadership.
- Deliver briefings to stakeholders on readiness, impact, and risk.
Continuous Improvement
- Analyze operational feedback to refine and improve capabilities.
- Incorporate lessons learned into development cycles.
- Recommend updates based on industry trends and emerging best practices.
Crisis Management
- Act as the point of contact during cyber-related crises.
- Coordinate rapid response and ensure clear communication during incidents.
