SPA's Joint Defense Support Group has a diverse portfolio encompassing the US Air Force, US Marine Corps, US Army, the US Surface Navy, and the Navy Manpower, Personnel, Training, and Education Enterprise. Technical analysts and engineers provide tailored program management for life-cycle systems engineering and logistics support, rapid capabilities development and fielding, cyber warfare operations, nuclear command, control and communications, and design, production, and maintenance support. Military Operations analysts provide operational and decision support to advanced studies, wargame development, requirements development, materiel operations, supply strategies, program integration, and fleet readiness. SPA has a near-term need for a highly experienced WMD intelligence expert to support our customer in Washington, DC. Responsibilities The WMD Intelligence Expert will provide analysis, guidance, and recommendations to the Government regarding intelligence topics endemic to the strategic deterrence mission and Air Force requirements supporting it. The IE will coordinate with Service and Intelligence Community (IC) stakeholders to keep senior leaders appraised of WMD threats, including capitalized on the IE's knowledge of discrete radioactive particle problem sets, USG surveillance and deterrence capabilities and policies, and the input to and distillation of AF/A2 and IC products and analyses. DC Pay Transparency: $175,000 - $200,000. Qualifications Required Qualifications Master's degree with 10 years' experience in DoD policy, planning, or strategic deterrence organizations Recent experience conducting tasking, production, exploitation, and/or dissemination of WMD intelligence at the MAJCOM staff level or higher Recent experience incorporating WMD threats into strategy, plans, policy, and/or operations of the nuclear and strategic deterrence enterprise Recent experience incorporating WMD intelligence into deterrence operations planning Top Secret clearance with SCI and sub-compartment eligibility Desired Qualifications Masters' degree with 15 years' experience in DoD policy, planning, or strategic deterrence organizations Recent experience analyzing and reporting on the operational effects of WMD use against Air Force operations and agile combat support activities
