Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Secret level clearance, or the ability to obtain one within 12 months, and you must maintain it throughout employment
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer science, computer engineering, engineering, engineering management, information science, information systems management, information technology, mathematics, operations research, statistics, technology management, system engineering), plus 1 year of relevant engineering experience (this could include, but is not limited to, experience in systems architectures, designs, development, and test and evaluation) OR Master's degree in a technical field
- Familiarity with Aegis Weapon System
- Familiarity with DOD Acquisition
Responsibilities
You will provide technical and programmatic support to an Aegis Baseline Manager within the PEO IWS 1.0 Aegis Development directorate (IWS 1ID / 1ND, formerly 1AD). You will join a high performing team and be expected to develop a strong understanding of DoD, Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command and PEO IWS instructions and processes (e.g. DoD 5000).
We don't expect you to come in with any expertise but we do expect you to consistently demonstrate strong attributes to quickly build competencies and provide the highest quality products and services to IWS 1SE. Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Washington, DC Pay Transparency Range: $70,000 – $80,000.
