Our Financial Management & Business Analysis Portfolio supports the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC); the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (ASA) Financial Management and Comptroller (FM&C); the U.S. Army Financial Management Command (USAFMCOM); the Defense Health Agency (DHA); and many other DoD customers. We ensure the Army FM systems and processes are modernized and integrated to provide a complete range of financial and cost information needed for the Army to conduct business transactions, provide accountability to the public, and to support performance reporting and decision making. We provide effective functional systems support, user technical support, training support, and governance support of the Army's modernized and deployed FM domain ERP systems (GFEBS / GFEBS-SA / GCSS-A (Finance)), ensuring technological capabilities maturation and evolution aligns with Army and FM domain goals and objectives.  

We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer to join our team to support the Army's Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE) Fires' Integrated Fires Directorate (IFD).


Responsibilities

  • Support planning, execution, analysis, and coordinator of Integrated Fires test and evaluation activities
  • Support test campaigns involving Army, Joint, and multi-organizational systems and capabilities and works across government, military, contractor, test range, and industry organizations
  • Develop and coordinate test strategies, objectives, plans, schedules, procedures, data requirements, and supporting documentation
  • Support live, virtual, constructive, and simulation-based test activities
  • Coordinate instrumentation, data collection, range requirements, and technical support
  • Assist with analysis and assessment of test results
  • Work closely with IFD leadership, program and project offices, test organizations, engineering teams, laboratories, ranges, and external stakeholders to ensure test activities are aligned with operational requirements and Integrated Fires priorities

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Possess an active DoD SECRET clearance 
  • 10+ years of experience and a Master's degree in engineering, science, mathematics, computer science, or a related technical discipline OR 18+ years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, mathematics, computer science, or a related technical discipline
  • Relevant experience in test and evaluation, systems engineering, engineering analysis, systems integration, or a related technical field
  • Experience supporting technical projects, test activities, engineering efforts, or program execution
  • Ability to develop and communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in the Huntsville, Alabama area and support the IFD mission in person five days per week, eight hours per day. Telework is by exception based on mission requirements

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Army or DoD test and evaluation activities
  • Experience with Integrated Air and Missile Defense, Integrated Fires, command and control, sensors, weapons, or related capabilities
  • Experience supporting live, virtual, constructive, or modeling and simulation environments
