Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field
- 15+ years of demonstrated experience providing leading Navy engineering efforts, including demonstrated experience with Foreign Military Sales
- DoD Secret clearance, and the ability to maintain this throughout employment
Desired Qualifications:
- Surface Electronic Warfare expertise
- NSWC Dahlgren experience
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support the AN/SLQ-32(v)6 (SEWIP Blk 2) program within PEO IWS 2.0 Above Water Sensors Directorate beginning this summer. The candidate will provide systems engineering and hardware analysis expertise to the SEWIP Block 2 Principal Assistant Program Manager in support of Foreign Military Sales case studies.
A hybrid work environment is acceptable and you must have the ability to work from NSWC Dahlgren and occassionally various DC area organizations up to multiple times per months and travel up to 25% of the time (2-3 times per month). International travel is likely.
Specific responsibilities include: 1) Develop tracking reports for elements and milestones, 2) Implementing SE management practices that include programmatic financial planning, analysis of hardware requirements, and contributing to various working groups (System Safety, Training, Hardware, software, etc), 3) Assess Program Protection Plans for Critical Program Information in relation to Foreign Sales cases, 4) Conduct feasibility studies and develop technical requirements for installation on allied vessels, and 5) Work with various stakeholders and field activities to develop integration and test plans, training plans and sustainment needs.
