Location: Pre-Release Center in Lawrence, MA, Essex County Sheriff's Dept. 

 

Pay rate: $50,000-$60,000 annually 

Schedule: 2 openings for Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm and one opening for 10:00am-6:00pm

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, human services, education, or closely related field required.
  • Knowledge of substance use disorders highly preferred.
  • Requires reliable form of transportation to arrive at work each day, on time. 

 

The Clinician is responsible for:

  • Completing orientation and intakes with offenders.
  • Working with community partners to provide quality reintegration services.
  • Providing referrals and education around services available to them.  
  • Communicating using the chain of command with both Spectrum and Sheriff's Department staff.
  • Maintaining records and completes well written notes in a timely manner.
  • Facilitating daily groups that offenders need education in.
  • Complying with all ECSD rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Monitoring offenders' compliance with programming/check ins.  
  • Participating in any mandatory trainings or meetings for Spectrum or Sheriff's Department.  
  • Assisting in training new clinicians.
