Description

Location: Souza Baranowski Correctional Center, Shirley Medium  in Shirley, MA, and North Central Correctional Institute in Gardner, MA 
Pay rate: $67,000 annually 
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. May need to work an evening shift depending on program needs

Qualifications:

• LADC, CADC, or actively pursuing licensure.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Criminal Justice, Human Services, Education, Counseling or closely related field.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
• Corrections experience preferred.

The Program Director is responsible for:

• Managing the Re-Entry and General Population Services Programs within guidelines per Massachusetts Department of Corrections contract specifications 
• Ensuring assigned staff comply with Spectrum Health Systems and the Massachusetts Department of Correction (DOC) policies/procedures and standards.
• Organizing, implementing, and supervising the program design as defined by the program manual.
• Ensuring compliance with on-going analysis and use of the quality assurance system as defined by the State Director.
• Working with the State Director/Regional Director to formulate corrective action plans when necessary.
• Identifying staff development needs and opportunities.
• Staff scheduling to ensure consistent program coverage.
