At SRC Automotive, Inc., we're hiring an Associate Account Manager to support our sales team while building and maintaining customer relationships in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Represent SRC Automotive and their product solutions to customers through phone calls, facility tours, and visits to the customer
- Identify and recommend appropriate SRC solutions to customers as well as identify new opportunities for the business
- Works with Engineering, Accounting, Materials, and Production to provide customer quotes
- Keeps records of customer interactions and transactions, records details of complaints, inquiries, comments, and actions taken
- Handle difficult conversations with customers in a professional manner
- Participates in long term strategic sales planning and assists in delivering this message to SRC Automotive and the Corporate Board
- Communicates customer needs to Supply Chain and Engineering
- Work with customers, suppliers and other SRC Automotive departments/employees to provide solutions for customer needs
- Conduct and analyze customer, market, and competitor data for current and future sales trends and customer needs
- Respond to customer calls as necessary and expedite customer orders
- Determine areas for sales growth, design and execute a plan to realize that growth
- Assist the Sales Department in the budgetary process and conducting business within budgetary goals
- Support Sales team with special projects as directed by Sales Manager
Experience in B2B sales, account management, or customer-facing roles
Background in manufacturing, automotive, marine, or industrial products preferred
Strong skills in relationship management, communication, and problem-solving
Experience with CRM systems and ability to be trained on company specific system
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities
Comfortable with 20% travel
Experience managing complex accounts or supply chains
A commercial mindset with focus on revenue growth and profitability
Confidence navigating challenging customer conversations
