POSITION SUMMARY:

The Account Manager partners with our current customers and is responsible for the day-to-day management of and serves as the primary contact for assigned accounts. It is the role of the Account Manager to establish lasting relationships with assigned customers to help them grow their reman program and grow their relationship with SRCL through sales opportunities and the daily functioning of the account.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build customer relationships with a focus on customer satisfaction.

• Interact with customers through email, phone calls, video conferences, and in-person visits.

• Lead customer meetings on a weekly/monthly basis as required.

• Interact with customer's dealers and or suppliers as requested.

• Investigate and solve all customer concerns through root cause analysis as applicable.

• Assist with launching new parts into the program.

• Report KPIs to customers as required per contract.

• Give presentations in small to medium group settings.

• Drive process improvements for internal or external requests.

• Calculate, review, and approve monthly customer billing.

• Create and maintain accurate and complete part criteria.

• Create regular reporting including; KPI's measurements, inventory management, processing metrics, fill rates, inventory turns and more.

• Participate in annual forecasting/budgeting for assigned accounts.

• Provide dealer training as needed.

• Work closely with the IT department on system enhancements and updates.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed mostly in a controlled atmosphere. Some exposure to harsh conditions—such as dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures—for short periods is possible. The Account Manager will be required to sit 80%, stand 10%, and walk 10% of the work day. The ability to lift and carry 10-25 pounds for short distances is required. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk and hear. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in business, communications, logistics, or other related field.

• PREFERRED: 2 to 5 years experience in sales, account management, or related field

• PREFERRED: Experience working in a software-based, logistics, or manufacturing company.

• Technology: Solid computer proficiency with an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office & Windows-based programs. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail, and Web-enabled applications.
