Shipping Clerk - Monday - Friday 80AM to 430PM
What Will You Do?
At SRC Logistics, we like to WIN, and have FUN doing so. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting of transactions and posting activity according to customer requirements; offloading activities as directed, verify orders, and producing quality work through conformance to specification requirements.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform shipping duties
- Examine and route outgoing shipments to correct suppliers and drivers
- Audit and schedule shipments for pickup
- Meet shipping deadlines from OEMs
- Operate a fork truck to lift and move or hoist materials from the shipping area to trailers or work area
- Perform set-up, material handling duties, and minor general maintenance
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- PREFERRED:1 year forklift experience (with ability to elevate to heights in excess of 15 feet)
- PREFERRED: experience and knowledge of bill of ladings, packing slips, and other freight bills and basic receiving functions
- PREFERRED: High School Diploma or GED
- PREFERRED: 6 months or more of experience in warehousing or manufacturing environment
