What You Will Get To Do:

• Coordinating overall work plan for US-based OTC staff, which includes managing and monitoring work in progress

• Reviewing work product prepared by OTC staff
• Providing coaching, training and leadership as necessary to the OTC team

• Establishing and driving strong relationships with clients and maintain regular client contact to ensure that satisfaction levels are high

• Acting as a point of contact within the OTC Operations department and to hedge fund clients, to address derivative questions and problems and implement solutions
• Participating in efforts to extend OTC Operations capabilities and improve processes and policies
• Driving enhancement projects for technology and operational processes

• Partnering with the sales team to market the firms OTC capabilities to prospective clients as needed
• Keeping abreast of industry changes and work on solutions to meet new requirements

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• Masters degree in related area a plus
• 8+ years  in OTC operations in a front/middle/back office capacity
• Experience dealing with various OTC products including interest rate, credit, equity and/or FX derivatives
• Strong understanding of financial markets and the role of the various intermediaries
• Familiarity with the major derivative industry participants -  DTCC, MarkitWire, etc.
• Solid hands on supervisory experience
• Ability to delegate effectively
• Strong project management skills
• Analytical mind and ability to problem solve
• Ability to work under pressure and manage tight internal and client deadlines
• Solid communication skills, including written, listening and presentation abilities
• Excellent client relationship management skills.
