Job Title: Director, Technical Solutions Management

What You Will Get To Do:
- Understands and executes Solution Consulting/Sales Methodology
- Acts as a subject matter expert on Advent's solutions during the sales process
- Uncovers, elevates, quantifies, and confirms the customer's critical business issues
- Assists in defining sales strategy and is proactive about preparing appropriate data and reports for sales events
- Provides customized technical presentations that illustrate the Advent Solutions' architectural and technology benefits that apply to customers' CBI's
- Advises and consults with prospects in terms of Advent Solutions' architectures, infrastructure planning, and integration methodologies in order to facilitate the sales process
- Gathers all pertinent customer requirements necessary to formulate an infrastructure plan for the customer's deployment of Advent Solutions, primarily involving Advent's Managed Applications platform.
- Assists existing clients with infrastructure planning as it relates to product upgrades or large business expansion, including help with understanding how new features, architectural changes, and expanded platform support can be leveraged for their future operations and infrastructure
- Effectively demonstrates and communicates the differentiating value of Advent's solutions
- Acts as a consultant on product integration strategy with the customer's internal applications and third-party applications, and technologies
- Properly sets expectations with regard to implementation timeframes and resources required to be successful
- Understands and effectively communicates the value of Advent's Implementation Methodology (AIM)
- Participates in demand creation events (seminars, trade shows, conferences, etc.)
- Feeds knowledge gained from customers back to the business management and product management groups
- Proactive about maintaining high level of product/solution knowledge, as well as, applicable technology changes
- Delivers high quality documentation of recommended solutions to clients and internal stakeholders
- 5-15% travel is expected in this position depending on sales coverage model
What You Will Bring:
- Strong knowledge of portfolio and investment accounting for middle and back-office workflow and operations highly desired
- Working knowledge of asset management industry a plus
- Advent product or Geneva consulting experience required
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: SS&C Advent software products (client/user experience), investment/fund accounting, straight-through processing applications, financial technology sales
- Working knowledge of private equity middle and back-office workflow and operations highly desired
- 4-5 years overall experience in one or more of the following areas: financial technology consulting, support or sales engineering, cloud-based deployments, HA/DR deployment options, and integration technologies.
- Knowledgeable with software architecture, hardware specifications, virtualization configurations, network topography, disaster recovery applications, operating systems, cloud-based infrastructure, web applications, and Advent's application architectures
- Skilled with programming/database/integration technologies, languages, and tools, including but not limited to MS Windows, RHEL, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, .NET/C#, Java, Python, SOAP, REST, JSON, XML, FIX (FIX, XML, etc)
- Understanding of C/C++, object-oriented design and databases a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Computer Science a plus

Salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, business needs, and geographic regions. NY: Salary range for the position: 180,000 USD to 195,000 USD.Apply on company website
