What you get to do: We are seeking a high-performing Engagement Manager to lead the pursuit, shaping, and successful delivery of AI and Automation consulting engagements for clients in the Financial Services industry—specifically across Transfer Agency, Asset Management, and Retirement Services. This role is pivotal as we expand beyond our BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) and core recordkeeping technology to offer a mature and modern AI & Automation consulting capability. The Engagement Manager will:
  • Lead client engagements end-to-end (strategy → discovery → execution → value realization)
  • Serve as the primary client-facing leader and advisor
  • Drive internal strategic initiatives and transformation programs
  • Partner closely with AI Architects, Engineers, Data teams, and Operations SMEs to deliver measurable business outcomes
  • Own strategic internal AI & Automation initiatives and critical build-outs across operating model maturity, governance, innovation, and global alignment.
Ideal candidates bring management consulting experience (external or internal), deep understanding of AI/automation, and strong leadership skills tailored to complex financial-services environments. Key Responsibilities: 1. Client Engagement Leadership & Consulting Delivery
  • Own the overall success and profitability of AI/Automation consulting engagements
  • Lead discovery, problem framing, value case development, and roadmap creation
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for client executives and program leads
  • Translate business needs into structured initiatives, clear requirements, and delivery plans
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality outputs (assessments, business cases, POVs, strategy decks, execution plans)
2. Pursuit Management & Solution Shaping
  • Lead pre-sales cycles alongside Sales and Relationship Managers
  • Create proposals, SOWs, engagement models, and pricing estimates
  • Facilitate client workshops to articulate AI/automation opportunities, constraints, and value
  • Support expansion of accounts through thought leadership, credible delivery, and trusted advisor relationships
3. Program & Delivery Management
  • Run medium-to-large initiatives using a structured delivery framework (Agile, hybrid, or client-specific)
  • Build and manage detailed project plans, timelines, dependencies, and risks
  • Partner with Technical PMs, AI Architects, Engineers, and Operations SMEs to ensure execution quality
  • Proactively manage scope, change requests, and executive-level communications
4. Stakeholder & Executive Communication
  • Develop and present materials for C-suite, senior leadership, and steering committees
  • Communicate complex concepts in simple, business-friendly language
  • Manage expectations at all levels—from day-to-day operations to executive sponsors
5. Strategic Internal Initiatives This role will own, build, and support strategic internal AI & Automation initiatives and critical build-outs, including:
  • Evolution of the AI/Automation operating model and COE maturity
  • Design and delivery of new internal capabilities, platforms, and solutions
  • AI governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks for financial services
  • Cross-regional alignment and execution across US, UK, and Retirement Services teams
  • Enterprise-level programs requiring structured PMO leadership and senior executive engagement
6. People Leadership & Team Enablement
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of analysts, architects, data engineers, and automation developers
  • Mentor junior team members on consulting methodology, communication, and client management
  • Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
What you will bring:
  • 5+ years in management consulting, internal consulting, or advisory roles
  • Experience leading AI/automation, digital transformation, or operational excellence engagements
  • Strong understanding of RPA, ML/AI use cases, OCR/IDP, LLM applications, and modern automation architectures
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience in financial services; exposure to Transfer Agency, Asset Management, or Retirement Services is a plus.
  • Proven success managing client relationships and delivering multi-month consulting programs
  • Exceptional communication, executive presence, and structured problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing demands and lead through ambiguity
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or MS degree is preferred, equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Certifications in Agile, PMP, or consulting toolkits
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise AI technologies
  • Prior experience pricing, scoping, and selling consulting engagements
  • Strong analytical and storytelling capabilities

Salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, job related knowledge, skills, abilities, business needs, and geographic regions. Other States Salary range for the position: 150000 USD to 175000 USD.
