What You Will Get To Do:
The Fund Accounting Transformation Lead is responsible for leading strategic business and technology transformation initiatives across Wealth Management and Funds Administration platforms, with a focus on fund accounting operating model transformation, platform optimisation, data migration, accounting integrity, and end-to-end solution delivery.
The role provides subject matter expertise across HiPort, Fund Accounting, Unit Registry, and General Ledger (GL) functions, partnering with Operations, Finance, Product, and Technology teams to deliver complex change initiatives across managed funds, superannuation, wrap, and investment administration environments.
The position is responsible for bridging business, operations, and technology teams to define future-state processes and solutions, while providing leadership across requirements analysis, solution design, testing, migration, reconciliation, and implementation activities. A key focus is driving scalable, controlled, and compliant operating models that support business growth and regulatory obligations
Lead Fund Accounting transformation initiatives, including operating model design, platform modernisation, process optimisation and business change.
Act as the HiPort Subject Matter Expert, leading business discovery, solution design, configuration, implementation, optimisation and stakeholder engagement.
Lead business analysis activities by facilitating workshops, gathering requirements, documenting BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, process maps and solution documentation.
Drive Registry and Investor Administration transformation across investor servicing, unit pricing, distributions, corporate actions, transaction processing and operational controls.
Lead General Ledger and accounting solution design, including accounting models, reconciliations, financial, tax and regulatory reporting requirements.
Oversee data migration, mapping, validation, reconciliation, parallel runs, cutover planning and implementation readiness.
Partner with Finance, Operations, Technology, Product and external vendors to deliver scalable, compliant and sustainable solutions.
Lead SIT, UAT and production implementation activities, managing defect resolution, business readiness and successful delivery outcomes.
What You Will Bring:
10+ years' experience in Fund Accounting, Fund Administration or Funds Management, with a proven track record leading business transformation and system implementation initiatives.
Fund Accounting, Registry and Investor Administration expertise.
HiPort or equivalent fund accounting platform experience.
Business analysis, solution design and operating model transformation.
General Ledger, accounting, reconciliations and financial reporting.
Data migration, testing and system implementation.
Stakeholder management, workshop facilitation and vendor engagement.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Strategic, collaborative and delivery-focused approach.
High level of ownership, adaptability and a continuous improvement mindset.
