About the Role

Our Luxembourg Alternatives Fund Accounting team are looking for a Fund Accounting Manager to join the team due to an increase in client activity.

You will actively manage and take responsibility for a number of European client relationships and oversee the offshore team members managing the accounting and reporting functions. You should be a qualified accountant with experience in Luxembourg Fund structure (UCITS, SIF, RAIF) including Alternative/Hedge Funds and all associated CSSF/BCL regulatory reporting procedures associated with these vehicles.

You will be expected to have excellent written and verbal communications skills, a proven ability to multi-task, and outstanding organisational and problem-solving skills.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple client relationships, including scheduling and meeting client deliverables.
  • Oversee the preparation of daily and monthly NAVs ensuring sign off is in accordance with GlobeOp procedures
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements.
  • Participation with the on-boarding process of new clients and new sub funds of existing clients.
  • Prepare and coordinate the filing of monthly and quarterly CSSF/BCL regulatory reporting.
  • Interact with senior management to implement new initiatives and promote team development
  • Communicate promptly and professionally with clients, third parties and regulatory authorities.
  • Prepare appropriate material and responses for client meetings and other requests.
  • Coordinate, support and manage the external audit process.

Your Experience

  • Relevant experience in a fund accounting manager position or a similar role
  • Experience or knowledge of the production/oversight of NAV's within the Fund Admin Industry
  • Strong knowledge of Luxembourg Funds, (UCITs, SIFs, SCSPs, RAIF, etc)
  • Accountancy qualification preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong working knowledge of financial products in the Alternatives/Hedge markets
