Job Description

 Design, development and maintenance of suite of applications (aka ALPS) built to serve Fund Accounting area of Hedge Fund Services business.

·       Working with business analysts and users in developing business requirements, integration requirements and formulate technical recommendation

·       Coding, Compiling, Unit testing, integration, packaging and deployment of developed software

·       Collaborate with other developers and offshore teams in managing the project deliverables

·       Assist in migrating the ALPS applications and surrounds to a new Data Center

·       Ensure overall quality of deliverables is consistent with defined standards and follow Agile development practices like SCRUM

Knowledge/Experience:

•         Substantial experience in developing in Core Java/Angular/Spring/Hibernate technologies

•         Strong technical analysis/debugging abilities

•         Proficient in working on backend technologies like SQL and stored procedures/triggers etc.

•         Experience in Unix/Shell Programming

•         Experience with Weblogic and/or Websphere

·       Experience with middleware & Enterprise Messaging Systems such as TIBCO and/or MQ Series

•         Experience with Web Services Standards(RESTful,JSON,SOAP, WSDL) a plus

•         Experience with Web customization using custom tools  i.e. Micro strategy SDK  and JQuery a plus

•         Experience on implementing solution using Java based ETL tools i.e. Talend  a plus

•         Good Communication Skills.  Ability to interact directly with various teams.

•         Any Trade Flow Lifecycle, Financial Services experience is a Plus
