Manager, OTC Collateral Manager

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Collaborating with developers and QA engineers to conceptualize, enhance and release collateral and treasury software
  • Conducting quality assurance to ensure that the enhancements meet prescribed guidelines
  • Making workflow changes to improve efficiency and success specific to collateral and treasury management
  • Participation in meetings regarding the developed and supported products
  • Communicating with clients about collateral and treasury initiatives
  • Daily health checks of environments, health monitoring
  • Communication with clients on timelines and ETA of task completions
  • Liaise with Development department and business units on the ongoings of technical enhancements for the collateral and treasury workstream
  • Process daily OTC Derivative payments via internal payment system
  • Support Account managers in rolling out new operational processes
  • Perform other collateral and treasury administration projects as assigned
  • Maintain corporate collateral policies and procedures and ensure that compliance is maintained.
  • Keeps current with market trends and demands.
  • Performs other functionally related duties as assigned

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business and/or Accounting  
  • 7+ years working experience working for an investment bank, Hedge Fund, asset manager or/a fund admin
  • Knowledge of OTC products including interest rate, credit, equity and/or FX derivatives preferred
  • Margin Management Experience at a top tier firm or other large broker dealer is preferred
  • Deep understanding of the collateral management workflow and OTC derivatives processing
  • Understanding of Unregulated Margin Regulation language and new practices
  • Clear, concise, and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Innovative self-starter who is diligent and continually strives for excellence
  • Strong Clients facing skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation and ambition.
