What You Will Get To Do:

The Programme Director, Project Delivery, is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of strategic projects and programmes, ensuring execution excellence across timelines, cost, quality, and risk.

This role leads a portfolio of key initiatives across SS&C Admin Services South Africa, including client implementations, platform migrations, regulatory change, and operational transformation programmes. The incumbent works cross-functionally across Technology, Operations, Product, and Client teams to translate strategic priorities into structured, governed, and executable delivery plans.

Key responsibilities of this position will include:

• Establishing and maintaining robust delivery governance frameworks.
• Driving predictable, on-time delivery of complex programmes.
• Managing dependencies across multiple stakeholders and workstreams.
• Ensuring clear reporting and transparency at Exco and Steerco level.
• Owning and driving the delivery of a portfolio of strategic programmes and projects.
• Establishing and enforcing delivery governance frameworks, including Steerco structures, RAID management, Reporting standards.
• Ensuring alignment with SS&C global delivery standards and design authorities.
• Translating strategic initiatives into structured delivery plans and milestones.
• Overseeing execution across multiple workstreams, ensuring: Clear scope definition, realistic timelines, resource alignment.
• Ensuring successful implementation and transition into BAU operations.
• Act as the primary delivery interface for senior stakeholders.

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field
• Project / Programme certification preferred (e.g. PMP, Prince2, Agile)

• 10+ years in Project / Programme delivery, ideally within one of these specialisms: Fund administration, Transfer agency, Financial services platforms
• Proven experience delivering large, complex programmes (multi-workstream)
• Strong experience in client-facing delivery environments
• Experience working within regulated environments (FSCA / CISCA context)
• Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional delivery teams
