Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation QA Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for our financial technology products. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software solutions through robust automation strategies.
Job Responsibilities
* Lead the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive automated test frameworks and scripts using industry best practices.
* Collaborate closely with development, product, and other QA teams to understand requirements, define test strategies, and identify automation opportunities.
* Execute automated test suites, analyze results, identify defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
* Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and test scripts to accommodate new features and changes.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process by introducing new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
* Participate in code reviews for automation scripts to ensure quality and maintainability.
* Develop and maintain clear and concise documentation for automation frameworks, test cases, and processes.
* Proactively identify and communicate potential risks and issues related to product quality and release readiness.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
* 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
* Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, C#).
* Extensive experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit).
* Solid understanding of API testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured).
* Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
* Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Experience in the financial services or fintech industry is a plus.
