We are searching for a Financial Services & Insurance Sales Director of some repute; he or she will offer a demonstrable track record of both Sales Leadership and Sales success. We will require the successful candidate to be able to look across the sector, set out a new strategy and GTM playbook for these areas. We need real input from an expert who has the knowledge, charisma, and energy to win hearts and minds, garner support from the team and raise the bar substantially; outside of healthcare we have much to do.

Your Experience: 

  • Demonstrable track record of Manging teams and selling into sector in all of its facets

  • Understand the unique procurement processes, essentially to know how the sector buys; when they buy and what our engagement with our customer should look like

  • Have the gravitas and charisma to drive change based upon a strategy that should deliver the right behaviours that will set your team up for success

  • Demonstrable track record of executive leadership, managing both high performers and at the same time mentor and develop team members who may require support and coaching, able, and when necessary to take the difficult decisions in a timely fashion

  • Willingness to embrace senior executives into discussions, create openness and transparency for the betterment of the team

  • Understand and know that our ‘leaders' are on a career journey too and accepting challenge and coaching is a given

  • Create an environment that has structure & cadence; ability to create an environment that is positive and geared to winning

  • Able to hire and retain top talent

  • Able to lead and coach how to succeed at the most senior levels of our customers whilst being mindful of our GTM with and through the major GSI partners

  • Background in a consultative sales environment with an excellent understanding of complex solution sales cycles and proven experience in successful solution selling.  

  • Credible at both executive and operational levels, with the ability to develop long-term relationships. 

Responsibilities: 

Managing a Financial Services Sector team that is selling both directly and engaging closely with strategic GSI alliance and channel partners, to develop new business opportunities. 

  • Understand the makeup of potential prospects, to identify the key decision-makers, buying requirements and timescales. 

  • Work alongside the senior relationship holders in key alliance partners in joint selling campaigns; whilst retaining mindshare and narrative at the most senior discussions

  • Work with existing sales process and collateral and help develop the materials to suit specific and local markets. Strong knowledge of contractual, regulatory and procurement challenges that can create roadblocks

  • Strategic thinker, high degree of creativity and innovation with demonstrable examples

  • Work with the technical team to provide sales feedback and help identify areas for improvement. 

  • Proficient and experienced in using a structured sales process (like MEDDICC) and drive Demand Generation, Pipeline and Opportunity Management, Pipeline partnerships that
